Deep in the forest east of Newbatia, there lies an evil that had been dormant for many long years. Burbalangs, man-sized creatures with bat-like wings, purple skin with bumps, and long claws, have been creeping into the town to steal the children from their beds. For such a pleasant continent, Valkyre does not need such a scourge at Newbatia's doorstep.
