This spell creates a wall of force which can block open exits. For
example, you are a in a room that has one exit, to the north. You don't
want anyone to walk into the room so you cast 'force field' north. This
raises a barrier which must be overcome before anyone can enter the
room. Creatures and players will be slowed in their approach, but they
can break through the force field by repeatedly pushing against it. To
break a force field, you merely have to keep going in the direction that
the force field is blocking. Eventually, depending on your strength and
level, you will break through. You may not cast force field in a
direction that has no exit or a direction that is already blocked, for
example, by a door.
